Spring Haze Haiku for Carpe Diem

Onitsura’s Spring Haze

tokitaru kane no ayumi ya haru kasumi

the bell from far away –
how it moves along in its coming
through the Spring haze

Tarun Mazumdar’s attempt

His tired legs carry
his treacherous body
black temple in sight

black temple in sight
he gathers all his might to climb
priest grips his sword
