Kyoshi Takahama’s Haiku

Inspiration-

Spring breeze !
on the hill I firmly stand
with the great resolve

My attempt

Spring breeze!
Play with her hair locks; eyes sparkle
With the staunch resolve

At Carpe Diem Haiku, we are celebrating Kyoshi Takahama’s well known haiku. A renowned haiku master from Japan, Kyoshi’s, style is revered by poets across the globe.
The first haiku is by Kyoshi, and it is filled with fresh hope. To write on this piece came naturally to me as I could relate to each and every word.
This March, I completed two years as a haiku artist and that is only because of my staunch resolve to become a haiku master someday.
