Courage for Carpe Diem Haiku

Ona sensei calls
And hands over the exam sheet
O! Hiragana.

Lately, Hiragana has been giving me a very tough time. The characters are tough to recall especially when I have to write an exam. But I will master the language so that I can compose Haiku in Japanese like Basho and Issa.

Memories of Days Gone By

Granny and us look
twinkling stars on night’s canvas
